#allthethings I learned at the Start Conference

Wow. This weekend has inspired me to the point that I seriously expect my wife to send Jon an email asking "What did you do to my husband!? And why won't he shut up about #allthethings and unicorns and glitter?"
Which is actually a fair cause of concern. I have resurrected a blog that has been dormant for almost two years to share my take-aways and really hope others do the same. So, here we go, everything I wrote down during the conference:

What would I regret NOT doing?
Your dream should not make sense to everybody.
Break down big dreams into small actions.
Perfection is a poison disguised as a vitamin.
Arrogance is believing you will be amazing at something you never tried.
If you were already who you wanted to be, what would you be doing today?
How many of those things could you be doing right now?
Thus far, and NO FARTHER.
Believe in aggressive rest.
What story do you want to tell?
Make lore decisions.
Be wildly unrealistic about future circumstances.
Embrace the gift of invisibility.
Risk Something.
Dream job= DREAM + JOB.
Track your dream.
The world needs people to come alive with what they are doing.

Joy is a great fuel.
What are your diamonds?
Stop doing what you like so you can do what you love.
Hang up and arrive- Daddy pay atenshon!
Fear only gets loud when you do something that matters.
Write your voices down.
Write, don't type.
Identify the usual suspects, you don't have 1,000 fears, you have 4-5 fears with good disguises.
Refute your fears with truth.
Share your voices.
Fear does not get a vote.
